  • Part B - 6 Questions
  • 1 - Please describe the project (which can be a relatively small project or a larger project). Include a budget estimate (you can indicate the overall budget or the budget in relation to the work you have carried out in the last 12 months).*
  • 2 - Applicants must state why the project was started.*What problems or issues prompted the project? Basic facts and statistical information should be included to allow the judges to understand the motive for launching the project.
  • 3 - What exactly did the project achieve? Include specific details or statistics that back up your achievements. Outline the specific cost and resource savings you have achieved as a result of this project.*Demonstrate here how the project in its use of ICT, contributed to improved access to services or information. Clearly outline how the new service improved when compared to the previous methods employed. Please include specific detail and relevant data.
  • 4 - Outline how your service allows users to begin and complete a transaction, application or query through the use of web and ICT in general. If any element of the project resulted in users no longer using, or greatly reducing their use of the phone, visiting your offices or communicating with you by post as a result of the new service, please provide details.*Did this require a re-engineered or improved your internal processes to allow you to more effectively support your web based services?   • 5 - Demonstrate innovations or major changes you introduced in order to solve specific problems you encountered during this project.*Please outline the problem, the innovation, the technology employed (e.g. mobile app etc) and changes and illustrate why you feel the solution is new and effective.
