Bob Strunz, Technology Advisor to the Vice President Academic
and Registrar at the University of Limerick, shares his secrets
to creating a highly successful online working community. One
that delivers continuous interaction between students and lecturers.
A big part of his success relied on meeting two key challenges:
changing attitudes and integration of multiple IS systems. ULs

Health Management' - A Case Study
Pat
Kenny and Maureen Murphy from the National eLearning Project,
offer exciting insights into how to create a successful online
"Learning Centre". Sharing their experience in providing a significant
education resource for health service staff nationwide, including
for example, interactive learning, competency assessment tools
and an extensive resource library. As the winning entrant in
the 'Best Health Sector eGovernment Award', they speak of their
experiences and the challenges they overcame. |

Kneafsey has held senior positions in online and traditional
marketing for almost 20 years. Maeve has devised and implemented
numerous public and private sector web communications and marketing
strategies. She will be sharing top line findings from a recent
survey, conducted by Elucidate for the Irish eGovernment Awards and Centre of Excellence, on
the implementation of Irish eGovernment services. Maeve is MD
of Elucidate and co-founder of the Centre of Excellence and
Awards. |
